Love and laughter is what we’re all after

Not very scientific but it’s absolutely true. Forget load-shedding and water restrictions. The world is suffering from a shortage of love.

But not so with God. The Bible tells us…

For God so loved Friend that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life

John 3:16 (personalised)

God is not the enemy. He did something that nobody else could have done.  He gave a perfect and sinless life to pay for our debts, and now we can enter into a living friendship with God.

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate Friend from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:38-39 (personalised)

The finished work on the cross is how He showed us His eternal and unfailing love.  Now you and I can choose how we respond.

Jesus invites us to be born again by accepting His gift through faith.

If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:9-10

Friend, being born again is as easy as ABCD:

  • A – Admit your sins and turn away from them
  • B – Believe that Jesus died for them
  • C – Confess that Jesus is your Lord and Master
  • D – Decide to obey His commands in the Bible

Take a moment and say it out loud:  “Lord Jesus, I admit my sins and turn away from them now.  Thank you for dying for me.  I make You my Lord and decide to obey your commands.”

Well done!  You just began your eternal walk with Jesus and entered into a limitless supply of His love.
